Do I need WooCommerce?
Yes. WPCE is a WooCommerce add-on, so your products need to be in WooCommerce first. Fill in product SKUs if you plan to import compatibility links by SKU.
Is it only for car parts?
No. A finder is a set of dropdowns that you name yourself, and nothing in it is tied to vehicles. This demo runs vehicle parts, clothing sizes and printer supplies side by side.
How do I add my compatibility data?
Use the built-in CSV importer: one column for each dropdown level, plus a SKU column. A cell can hold several SKUs, and number levels can use ranges such as 2010-2015. You can also add and edit options by hand in the terms manager.
Will it cope with a big catalogue?
It has been tested with more than 50,000 terms and products. For large data, choose AJAX loading so each dropdown is fetched only when the shopper reaches it.
Will the finder match my theme?
The finder uses standard dropdowns and buttons, so it picks up your theme's form styles, and every label is editable.
Can shoppers see which vehicles a part fits?
Yes. Turn on the compatibility tab and every product page lists the vehicles it fits, with years grouped as ranges like 2014-2025.
What does the license include?
The regular license is for use in one end product. It includes future updates and 6 months of support from WP Instinct, which you can extend on CodeCanyon.
